DAYA + ELLIEβS WARM, INTIMATE, GEORGIAN INSPIRED WEDDING AT SIMPSON HOUSE
SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2024
Daya and Ellie were married surrounded by their cherished friends. The day was filled with personal touches that reflected on the most important memories from their relationship. No detail was spared. Laughter, smiles, and happy-tears graced the day with their presence, not only from the couple, but also from their beloved guests. During their vows, their wedding party watched on from inside the sunroom, looking down at the couple who is so clearly in love, that you can't help but feel lucky to witness them together. At every point in the day, Daya and Ellie's loved ones were invited to witness their joy.
Simpson House provided the perfect backdrop for an enchanting outdoor garden party basked in the evening sunlight. Honoring Daya's Georgian heritage was a top priority for the couple on their wedding day. The long tables, draped in crisp white linens, were set with Cottage Rose's gorgeous florals and paired with grapes, pomegranates, and tomatoes, creating vibrant touches of color for their Georgian-inspired dinner party. Dutzel's Catering curated a menu and experience that would reflect the flavors from Daya's family heritage, I have to say, it was perfect.
This wedding day was so special. Using both film and digital mediums, my aim was to document the tenderness and intentionality of this celebration. Daya and Ellie are so in love, that my job was effortless. Here is a look into their wedding day.
